Port Lympne Reserve Tree House Hotel
Kent

During late 2014 we were invited to bid for the design and manufacture of 10  5-star lodges for the Port Lympne Reserve, run by the Aspinall Foundation.

The stunning concept was for the self-contained lodges to be installed on a tree-lined ridge within the park with amazing views out over the park and the English Channel.

We were appointed and worked with the client to design the beautifully stylish timber-clad buildings with the interior design being commissioned with Tara Bernerd and partners.

Each Lodge has a large open-aspect lounge/dining/kitchen space with patio-doors opening onto a viewing terrace.

Two large bedrooms and a large family bathroom complement the accommodation.

The interior d├ęcor is stunning and of the highest quality and the buildings were fully completed in our factory prior to being transported to site and installed. Each lodge comprised two modules.

Our designers and structural engineers, together with the groundworks contractor, developed a design for sub-structure concrete foundations with structural steel support frames cantilevering out from the tree lined ridge.

The visual impact of the stylish timber clad buildings nested along the tree-lined ridge is stunning and, coupled with the highest quality of the internal fit out, has contributed to the huge success of the Tree House Hotel since the official opening in June 2015.
